Treasures in the Deep

In the deepest parts of our hearts, we hold some of the greatest treasures we could offer the world. However, we often hide them, sometimes even from ourselves. These gems come in the form of our darkest fears, painful memories, and burdened hearts. But if we have the courage to dive deep, we may gain the most valuable things the world has to offer us. Yes, it is broken, tarnished, and often buried in decay, but it is beautiful; it is valuable; it is needed to make the world a better place. And when we do this, these tarnished pieces begin to shine again.
